June 29/ 30, 2018 - Our weekend in Florence!
Friday, after a day of travel we found our airbnb, the Comic House. We found our way to the Museo Galileo, a museum about the history of science. A fun and educational for under 10 euros. Later we had Mexican for dinner at Tijuana, the nachos and burritos were just as good as the pizza!
Saturday, we started out the day with coffee and a pastry at the shop below our airbnb. We shortly found our way to the Gucci Museum, which was amazing. We got in free with the student discount and could have spent all day there. The gift shop was just as fabulous as the museum, a commemorative hoodie cost 860 euros, a box of matches or pencils cost 20 euros.
We then went to the Duomo but didn’t go inside just marveled at the size. We ate pizza outside and saw multiple brides walking the city. For dinner we went to Florence’s giant sandwich shop where all sandwiches are 5 euros and stuffed with delicious meats, veggies and cheeses. After the hot day we all had a good nights rest.
