June 28, 2018


Today was a relaxing day in Urbino. We met at Sugarcafe, where we were treated to cappuccinos, sugar spritz, and appetizers. The spritz in Italian champagne, Aperol, sparkling water and juice then we had pretzels and season tortilla chips.

Owner Giovanni and his children run the café and have become friends of the program. His kids say when they attend college what they will miss most is spending time with their father.


After a lunch break we met back in the classroom to discuss our projects (mine is food, of course) and then were set free to do as we please. After a much needed nap, I ended my day with yummy chocolate and hazelnut gelato. Tomorrow me and two other girls are off to Florence for the weekend for more adventures!
